Sasha began acting at age eight, studying at The Neighborhood Playhouse, and appearing in numerous commercials, voiceovers and print campaigns. During High School, Sasha was the youngest student accepted into Circle in the Square Summer Theater School and one of thirty-two students selected to participate in a competitive acting program run by Circle Repertory Theater. After graduating Vassar College with a BA in Theater, Sasha began appearing in a number of short films and commercials, as well as becoming a member of the professional acting company for NYU’s graduate playwriting department. While running WET for the past ten years, Sasha has continued to work as an actor on select projects. EVENTS: Waitress, written and directed by Adrienne Shelly (with Paul Rudd, Amy Sedaris, Gretchen Mol) and The Morgan Stories, written and directed by Adrienne Shelly (with Paul Rudd, Billy Crudup, Ally Sheedy and Jessica Hecht), Love 2006 (with Emmanuelle Chriqui, Mark Feurestein, Zak Orth and Jackie Hoffman); FILM: Tonight at Noon (directed by Michael Almereyda); TV: “Law and Order,” “Changing Gears” (pilot by Christian Finnegan). WORKSHOPS/READINGS: Ankin Rowen Productions, Urban Stages, Playwrights Horizons, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, The Public Theater, and The Tribeca Theater Festival; Sasha has studied acting at The Neighborhood Playhouse, BADA, Circle in the Square Theater School and with Earle Geister and Ron Van Lieu at The Actor’s Center.
