Plays include None of the Above (Off-Broadway premiere, Lion Theatre), Manhattan Casanova (Hudson Stage), and The Fisherman’s Wife (HERE Arts Center). Her work has also been produced at Center Stage NY, New Georges, Humana Festival, Stageworks Hudson (Play by Play 2008), and NY Int’l Fringe (“Best of Fringe”). Her plays have been workshopped at the Lincoln Center Directors Lab, Guild Hall (w/ Mercedes Ruehl), Women’s Project Directors Forum (w/ Eli Wallach), International Centre for Women Playwrights’ Chicago “Her-Rah” 2007: “A Festival of the World’s Best Women Playwrights and Their New Plays,” and the O’Neill Center, where she won the Edith Oliver Award. Three of her one-acts are published in Best 10-Minute Plays: 2007 (Smith & Kraus). Her work also appears in Under 30: Plays for a New Generation (Vintage), Leading Women (Vintage), Best 10-Minute Plays: 2004 (S&K) Heaven and Hell (DPS), Best Scenes: 2008 (S&K), and Best Monologues: 2008 (S&K). She co-authored He Meant, She Meant (Warner Books), wrote both seasons of the internet drama Watercooler (MSN), and has written scripts for Warner Brothers, NBC, and HBO, where she developed a pilot with Billy Crystal. A Harvard graduate, she has been a guest artist at Cornell and Barnard, a faculty member at The New School, a Lark Playwriting Fellow (nominated by Wendy Wasserstein), and a frequent contributor to The New York Times.
