JD WILLIAMS (The Wire) J.D. WILLIAMS born and raised in Newark, NJ, and graduating from the School of Industrial and Performing Arts began his professional career with a four season run on HBO's acclaimed series "Oz." After appearing on shows such as: "The Sopranos," "Sex and the City," "Law and Order," and "Homicide" he began a four season run on another critically acclaimed show HBO's "The Wire" as Preston "Bodie" Braudus.   He's also starred in the original series "The Kill Point" opposite John Leguizamo. Film credits include the upcoming Shanghai Hotel, Snipes, and Pootie Tang.
