Annie Baker's full-length plays include BODY AWARENESS (Atlantic Theater Company), NOCTURAMA, CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION and THE END OF THE MIDDLE AGES. Her work has been produced and developed at the Soho Rep, New York Theatre Workshop, Playwrights Horizons, the Atlantic, EST, the Ontological-Hysteric, Ars Nova, the Wilma, the Magic Theatre, the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, the Sundance Institute Theatre Lab, and the Sundance Institute Playwrights Retreat in UCross, Wyoming. She graduated from the Department of Dramatic Writing at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and was a member of EST's Youngblood and the 06/07 Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab. This past summer NOCTURAMA received a reading at the Cape Cod Theatre Project and CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION was workshopped at the Sundance Theatre Lab and New York Theatre Workshop's residency program at Vassar. Annie is a member of the Ars Nova Play Group and the MCC Playwrights' Coalition, and she is a 2008 Time Warner Storytelling Fellow. |
