A new WET poem
In case I need to tell you,
These are some haiku

Or is it "haikus"?
Whatever the plural is
That's what I give you

Karaoke night.
The WET crew had quite a blast
Singin' tunes with friends

A long list of songs
'twas difficult to decide
All were so tempting.

So much Madonna
Like a Prayer or a Virgin?
Of course we did both.

George Michael's "Faith"
Karaoke's not complete
without that one.

Some folks hogged the mic
With their smooth chords and hot moves
they rallied the crowd

It was evident
whoe took chorus in high school
They sang love ballads

The rest of us jammed
(more often than not, off key)
to '80's rock faves

Those yummy rum drinks
I must have had too many
Can't recall the name
