RAY AND KIT SAWYER

Ray and Kit Sawyer became theatre investors and huge fans of Broadway in 2001, investing in "Urinetown" and having a ball; hooked, they have beenin several productions since with the usual results - winners, losers, wonderful people, and great excitement.

They find nonprofit theatre just as compelling and exciting as their commercial ventures. Through ART/NY and mutual friends, they met Sasha and Vicky in 2005 and, of course, fell head over heels for the two of them and the magnificent commitment they have to theatre of and by women - and to the young women of New York City they "Outreach" to every year. They made a commitment to "Big Times" and sponsored LOVE in 2006. As they put it: "We feel thrilled to work with these energetic and effective theatre stars in this important program for developing a wider range of new theatre from emerging women playwrights!"
